“Where you come from doesn’t have to define where you’re going. And, when you get where you’re going, don’t get comfortable.”
This is the motto I live by.
The woman I am today was created by my life experiences. The dysfunction I became accustomed to has turned to competence and confidence.
Most people go to college with the dream of a better occupation. In my case, college gave me an escape from my dysfunctional, complacent zone.
I am a native of Cleveland, Ohio and an Alumna of Cleveland Heights High School. In 2010, I graduated with a BA in Communication with a focus in Public Relations and Advertising from Cleveland State University.
I moved to Atlanta to pursue my dreams and dive into the marketing industry. In pursuit of my dreams, I started working on my master’s degree and began my own branding company, Max Media Branding Corporation.
During that time, I fell in love with a military man and we married in August 2011. After marrying my soldier, off to Hawaii we went. Our first daughter was born in January 2012.
For two years, I stayed home with our child while working on my master’s degree, running a free fitness group called FitSquad, and hiking mountains with my baby in tow. My husband was deployed for 9 months.
In November 2012, I graduated from Argosy University of Hawaii with my MBA with a concentration in marketing. And, in February 2014, I started Cleaner Than Clean of Hawaii, a residential cleaning service. I sold the company to one of my employee’s in October 2014. We then relocated to Stafford, Virginia, purchasing our first home.
In July 2015, I gave birth to our second daughter and by that fall (October 2015) I began my real estate career. In 2017 my husband moved to Korea for 13 months and then went to Italy for two years. While stationed there, he was deployed 6-months-on and 6-months-off.
Currently, I have a top-producing real estate team serving the Northern Virginia Area and am also going through a divorce.
Who I am and who I always have always been is a woman with drive, ambition and determination. I’ve always been an “overcomer”. Nothing knocks me down that I can’t get up from.
This, in itself, has allowed me to inspire other people. God has given me the gift of helping others be the best versions of themselves!
